Only the 7ft x 8ft bouncy castle can be delivered through the front door of the house. All larger castles need a CLEAR side entrance for delivery. Please do not ask or expect our staff to move your items to gain access to property

Our website works on a first come. first served principal, so we can never guarantee availability until an item is booked online and a deposit paid.

The online book facility is available for private bookings only. EVENT bookings MUST be agreed and made by telephoning our office on 020 8926 0029. Discounted prices are only available to persons that book and pay online at least 7 days prior to the date of the event.. The booking system is 'LIVE' and any quotation given over the phone, or in writing, is only an indication of cost and can only be honoured if the item remains unbooked. FULL PAYMENT is required to reserve an item and will need to be paid within 24 hours of receiving an invoice.

Please ensure that you check your confirmation carefully and that you have ordered the correct size of castle. This is because we supply the same theme in several different sizes of castle. In the event that the customer needs to change the castle for an alternative a £20 changing fee will be applied

Bouncy Castle Bookings are based on a 7 hour rental period, Manned mascot visitts from 30 minutes. Generally, we deliver between 07.00h and 11.00h and start collecting after 18.00h. A later pick up can be arranged for an additional charge of £20 or you can book overnight (£50) and we collect before 12.00h the following day. We ask that if the house is left empty AT ANY TIME, on the day of delivery, we be informed of such by text. Castles booked online must be paid for at time of booking. Due to the nature of our deliveries and collections we expect a responsible person to be present at the delivery address. Hall hires will be collected and delivered to suit you hall booking times. Payment of any outstanding amount will need to be paid on arrival or installation of equipment/goods. If payment is not made on delivery or collection a further £20 administrative charge will be added to invoice . Invoices are payable on demand.

The cost of the castle includes installation/ removal, crash mats and public liability insurance.

If a castle, or petrol generator, is to be sited on land which is not owned by the hirer, express permission must be sought from the land owner. The hirer will be responsible for the return of goods seized by landowners. Please ensure a unique 13 amp power supply/socket is made available for our use within 50 yards of the castle, otherwise a petrol generator will need to be booked. It would assist if a heavy duty extension lead (3.1kw), with RCD protector, be laid out to the point that the castle is to be placed. We will supply an extension lead to private house hirers if one is not available but not to events, schools, public houses etc. (we insist on event planners to provide a safe electrical supply to the placing of the castle) Please do not plug any other electrical items into the extension lead as this may overload the extension lead.

The dimensions of a castle i.e 12ftx12ft, reflects the clear area needed on the ground for the castle to fit (this includes the step and/or slide). A further 5 feet is needed on the length to accommodate the motor and crash mat.

Mascot Meet and Greet is defined as a look a like character who arrives at your party with a chaperone and poses for photographs with party goers. We reserve the right to take photographs of the character posing with children and post them on our face book page. If you object to photographs being taken please advise before hand and none will be taken. The person manning the mascot may be female or male irrespective of the gender of the costume character.. In the unlikely event that the mascots arrive late but not more than 40 minutes, the deposit will be forfeited if they are turned away at the door. If you no longer require them, we will not ask for the outstanding balance but ONLY IF YOU ASK THAT THEY DO NOT ENTER THE PARTY AND DO NOT CHANGE INTO THEIR COSTUMES If the mascots are asked to get changed and enter the party the full cost of the booking will become payable immediately.

Invoices are in two parts (1)Delivery/Travel charge, which includes payment for the time it takes for the team to travel there and back, CC/ULEZ and Tolls if appicable and (2) Cost of Hire of goods. In the event that the team arrive at a venue and the goods are no longer required the delivery/travel charge is not refundable

Please note we supply a chaperone with each booking FREE of CHARGE. The costumes are bulky, have limited vision and the person wearing can get very hot. It is the duty of the chaperone to make sure the mascot arrives at the event on time, leads the mascot to avoid tripping and to arrange 10 minute breaks every 30 mins for water and cool down. On occasions, the mascot will perform without a chaperone but only after a risk assessment has been talked through with all parties

Delivery Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Castles are delivered and collected from dawn to dusk. Should you require a castle during the hours of darkness, please book overnight and the castle will be collected before midday the following day. Each van delivers several castles. Therefore, delivery/collection times requested, can only be accepted as approximate. However, we will endeavour to keep you informed of any significant change. Please ensure that a person is at home to receive the castle on the morning of the delivery as re-delivery is not always possible. If nobody is a home during the morning (or any other time during our delivery /collection period) we will need to be informed by text to 07954410626. Persons using the inflatable do so at their own risk. The following conditions are precedent to our public liability insurance.

1. The bouncy castle blower needs to be plugged into a 13amp socket and turned on at all times the caste is being used. The extension leads that we use are heavy duty and need to be plugged into a unique socket (not another extension cable). Please do not plug any other items into our power lead as this may result in overheating of the blower

1.a Kids Castles have an age limit of 12 years. The maximum number of kids allowed to use a kids castle at any one time is 4. The maximum number allowed to use an adult castle at any one time is 6 persons. All persons using an inflatable do so at their own risk. Overcrowding of a castle is dangerous and may lead to the overheating and subsequent cut out of the blower. Blowers have a thermal cut out and this will shut down the motor if the castle is overcrowded. In this event please clear the castle immediately. The motor will automatically restart after 15 minutes.

!b. Please ensure access and the castle site are free of litter, rubbish and animal mess.

2. A responsible adult (over 18 years of age) must supervise children at all times whilst on any equipment and must not allow kids to play close to the sides and rear of the castle. This is because of the risk of tripping on pegs/ropes used to secure the castle and the fan used to inflate the castle

3. Mascot hire can only be used by one allocated adult over 18 year of age.

4. Please do not allow anyone on, or near the inflatable, whilst inflating/deflating. Be aware that any person standing on a castle as it is inflated can be hoisted into the air and may drop from the roof of the castle.

4a. Once an inflatable is inflated, keep it inflated. DO NOT under any circumstances turn the motor on and off, or allow anyone to climb the walls, or on to the roof of the castle

5. Children are not allowed to climb, sit or hang on the inflatable walls, or roof.

6. Do not allow children to bounce on the front safety step. The safety step is to assist users in getting on/off safely.

7. Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded. Limit the number of users to allow enough room for each child to play safely. Try to avoid small and large children using the inflatable at the same time.

8. All shoes, badges and jewellery must be removed. We also recommend spectacles be removed.

9. No food or drinks to be consumed whilst on the inflatable, to avoid both mess and possibility of choking.

10. No party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string, as they can stain.

11. No smoking, fireworks, fires or barbeques to be used near the inflatable.

12. No pets to be allowed on the inflatable.

13. If any person suffers with back or neck problems they should not use the inflatables.

14. Occasionally check that the inflatable is still securely pegged down.

15. Never switch the blower on and off whilst the inflatable is in use.

16. If the inflatable fails for whatever reason, evacuate immediately to prevent injury.

17. DAMAGE: Please be aware the hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of the hired goods and will be held liable for any loss or damage at replacement, or repair value. In the event that we are denied access to collect our goods the hirer will be liable for additional hire costs pro rata to the original hire until such time as our goods are retreived. Please be aware a bouncy castle is a large, heavy item that needs to be transported on a trolley and may become wet and muddy in adverse weather conditions. We will not be held responsible for damage incurred whilst transportiing a castle through the house, or any part of the premises. Clear passage must be made available and a responsible person present at all times to oversee the installation and removal of the castle.

18. Only ONE special offer/discount may be applied to any one booking.

19. Manned mascot visits are supplied on a meet and greet basis only.

20. RAIN: No bouncy castle is waterproof. All our castles are fitted with light rain covers. However. they offer little protection in the event of a heavy rain shower and anybody using the castle is liable to get wet. In the event of rain the inflatable will bubble and foam. This is caused by water landing on air escaping from the castle and is not dangerous. It is advisable to leave the castle inflated and use a towel to remove excess water after a rain shower. We reserve the right to collect a castle at any time if a severe weather warning comes into force.

21. CANCELLATION: NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN. Deposits or full payment will be transferred to another date if 24 hours notice is given by text or email. Cancellations made after this will be charged at the full booking cost. We reserve the right to cancel a booking, at any time, without reason. There is a 20% deduction on any refund of money to cover re-stocking and adminisiration fees

22. BE AWARE that a bouncy castle is a large, heavy, item and may become wet and muddy. Please ensure CLEAR PASSAGE is made available for delivery and collection. We cannot be held liable for any damage caused whilst transporting a castle through a property.

23. SECURITY DEPOSITS: Any security deposit paid will be refunded in full on the safe return of the goods, provided the goods are returned in the condition they were supplied. Any loss of equipment will have to be replaced as new.

24. Absolutely NO REFUNDS.

25. PRIVACY POLICY: No financial information is stored on this website. We do not share any information with any third party.

26. WAITING TIME will be charged at £30 hour for any hold up to our staff caused by the action of the customer i.e waiting for access, going to the cash point, cutting the grass etc, etc.

27. ACCIDENT: IN THE EVENT of an accident occurring we need to be notified immediately by telephone on 020 8926 0029. Full, details must be recorded in writing, including, name and address of injured party, circumstances of accident, date and place of incident. A copy of the report must be handed to driver or sent to Basil's Bouncy Castles IG7 6EU within 7 days.

28. The company reserves the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment from site if at any time a representative of the company feels that the guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of the guests, clients, themselves, the company's staff or the safety of the hired equipment. At no time will any level of abuse against our staff be tolerated. In all such cases no refund will be given and full contracted fees will be due to the company
